Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Author has attended a Collaborative Feedback Training Session.
  • Author has reviewed and selected the appropriate category for submission as described in the Author Guidelines.
  • All required submission files (as indicated for each submission category below) have been completed and are ready to upload in PDF format.
  • The abstract should contain both an overview of the activity in paragraph form describing the context, rationale, and learning objectives (no more than 150 words) and the following keyword classification summary:

    Level: (K-8, Middle, High School, Undergraduate, Graduate)
    Setting: Classroom or Laboratory
    Activity Type: (i.e. Learning Cycle, Applications, Science Writing Heuristic Lab, POGIL Lab)
    Discipline: (e.g. Economics, Chemistry, Writing)
    Course: (e.g. Physical Chemistry, General Biology)
    Keywords: (topics covered)
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor has it been submitted to another publisher for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Author agrees to the Rights and Responsibilities User Agreement

Activities for Testing

Submissions to this stage are learning cycle or application activities. Authors are seeking feedback to optimize the activity for use in a wide variety of classroom settings.

Activities for Collaborative Peer Feedback (CPF)

Submission to this stage are complete activiities. Authors are seeking real-time peer feedback in a Collaborative Peer Feedback (CPF) session to improve the quality of the activty.
