Introduction to CSS
Abstract
This activity introduces students to Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The primary intent of this activity is to introduce non-Computer Science majors to CSS in an approachable way - making CSS accessible and a gentle introduction to website design. It is geared towards design and communications students to give them a basic understanding. This activity has been tested in person and virtually, always as the first day of class activity. The students are already nervous about the required course, and this lets them see on the FIRST day that they can do it!
