Abstract

Students explore the use of IF and IF/ELSE statements in Scratch programs.  They consider how each works and what happens when a programmer puts them together in sequence or when nesting one inside of another.  Finally, students expand their mad-lib style telling of the "Hey Diddle Diddle" from a prior POGIL to customize the visuals in the story based on user choices.
