Data frame slicing and filtering
Abstract
Students will use Python and the pandas library to read in a data set, access rows by index and by label, and filter rows using Boolean expressions. They will practice information processing of tabular data. This is a component of a beginning programming course in Python, but it could also be used in a data science course.
