Introduction to Hybrid-Flexible Course Design
Abstract
HyFlex courses are a current interest for many institutions due to the potential for increased enrollment. However, many faculty and administrators misunderstand what a HyFlex course actually entails. This activity, designed to be used in a faculty development workshop, introduces the characteristics of a HyFlex course. Faculty who participate in this activity will discuss the benefits and challenges and identify how the fundamental values for HyFlex apply to course design.
