Basics of Classical Conditioning in Psychology

Abstract

This activity begins with a student having a basic understanding of behaviorism and uses the learning cycle to help students discover the basic elements of classical conditioning: unconditioned stimulus, conditioned stimulus, unconditioned response, and conditioned response. Finally, the students will develop their own example of classical conditioning and label the components and be able to apply classical conditioning to real life examples.
